This October, HYPE volunteers have travelled to Cape Town, South Africa, to coach and teach in townships. We also hosted a spooktacular Halloween bash down at Courtney Road youth club.
This month HYPE’s Managing Director travelled to Cape Town, South Africa, for 10 days with a group of hard-working student volunteers. The group went over to complete charitable work within local schools, teaching and coaching primary aged children. HYPE had collected unwanted football kits throughout the year and were able to give these out to some of the children living within the townships. Not only did our fantastic volunteers make a real impact, but their international work will improve their CVs and boost their employability- a great outcome for all involved!

Back in Merseyside, HYPE’s youth workers were busy planning and delivering a Halloween extravaganza for the young people in our Courtney Road youth club. Last Monday, HYPE arrived at the youth club armed with pumpkins, face- paints and lots of enthusiasm! We all had a great night apple bobbing, dancing, and transforming some of of youth club regulars into toilet paper mummies! We hope you enjoy the pictures.
